What is a WLE Mentee?
Mentees are language learners. They are at a beginner to proficient level in a language and have a passion for improving. Mentees gain one-on-one or small group instruction in a personalized and safe space. They learn about vocabulary, grammar, and culture from community members and beyond.

In WLE conversational practice groups, 2+ mentors will be assigned to the same meeting time to lead a group of students in their preparation for AP exams or simply provide extra help in a low-stakes setting. Mentors will assist with grammar, introduce helpful vocabulary, teach exam tips/tricks, etc. on a regular basis.
